As Editor of Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine (1998 to 2001) I was responsible for the overall and specific editorial content and production of the monthly magazine and its Internet edition. Under my direction, the publication successfully transformed from a bi-weekly, tabloid-style newspaper to a full-color, glossy, monthly magazine. The first magazine issue was published in January of 2000. During my tenure, my editorial staff and I reshaped the publication’s editorial focus to concentrate on business, careers, technology and wealth building.

In September of 2001, under my leadership as its editor, Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine and its staff won seven Pioneer Black Journalist awards for its 2000 editorial content and one for its television program from the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists.
