Marketing and Special Events Experience

I have over 20 years experience, in business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing and communications. I founded and ran a marketing, advertising, public relations and desktop publishing firm that specialized in targeting the Black consumer and serviced over 100 individual, corporate and non-profit clients over a five year period. The services included media relations, print advertising and collateral materials production, radio and television copywriting and production, community relations and fundraising services.

In addition, I have researched and written marketing and business plans, established a series of open business, political and career forums, coordinated numerous special events ranging from business to black-tie to sports and developed sponsorship and fundraising packages. I have also planned and coordinated sponsor participation in numerous events large and small.

My clients have  included… Concessions International, Anheuser-Busch, Cellular One, Church’s Chicken, First Union National Bank, The Florida Lottery, Tampa/Hillsborough Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, GTE, House of Seagram, McDonald’s Corporation, Publix Supermarkets, USAir and a number of other corporate sponsors and marketers have benefited from my expertise.
