My fitness journey
“While my high school years didn’t brand me as an athlete, my journey through fitness has been nothing short of remarkable. As a former alternate on the tennis team and a track letterman in the long jump, high jump, and triple jump, my early athletic experiences laid the groundwork for what was to come.
However, it was my mother’s simple yet profound advice that ignited a lifelong passion for staying active: ‘Go outside and play.’ Armed with nothing more than a stick, a ball, youthful enthusiasm, and a curious mind, we ventured into the great outdoors, where exercise seamlessly blended with enjoyment.
Today, I still follow my mom’s advice – I continue to go outside and play, finding joy in staying active. It’s my firm belief that exercise should be a lifelong adventure filled with fun and excitement. This philosophy is at the core of the custom training programs I create, designed not only to get you fit but to ensure you’re having a blast along the way.
My journey extends beyond the realm of fitness. With over two years as a training manager at an Anytime Fitness gym and an additional two years as a mobility specialist at a chiropractor’s office, my expertise is reinforced by a diverse background encompassing information technology, marketing, sales, public speaking, journalism, publishing, special event promotions, and much more.
I want to emphasize that my role isn’t just about counting reps; it’s about teaching and guiding individuals on their unique paths to better health and fitness.
