Mastering the Art of Deep Breathing for Wellness

Video Synopsis:
Let’s delve into something you do every day without thinking: breathing. The catch? HOW you breathe could be impacting your health right now! To elevate your wellness, let’s focus on the art of deep breathing. Remember, you can go without food or water for a while, but only about 4 minutes without breathing. That’s how vital it is!

Try this. Take a deep breath. If your chest moves more, you’re chest breathing. If your stomach moves, you’re nailing belly, abdominal, or what I love to call Buddha breathing which is the correct way to breathe. Check out the video for details on how to master Buddha Breathing.

Let’s make a pact to BREATHE DEEP. It’s a small change with profound effects on your overall well-being.

Have you tried mindful breathing before? Share your experiences, and let’s breathe life into each other’s wellness journey!

PEACE.

Rick

FOOTNOTE: YES… I could make it more technical/complicated than this… but I prefer the K.I.S.S. method since I have no desire to confuse MYSELF in an effort to impress someone else. Let’s make this easy together.

BONUS RESOURCE: There’s an app for that!

My favorite breathing app on the Google Play Store –> Prana Breath: Calm & Meditate. Sorry, I don’t do iPhones, but I’m sure there’s a great one there, too.

This free app is straightforward and easy to use. It divides breath into 4 logical parts (inhale, hold, exhale, hold). Just follow the visual or audible patterns.

Plenty of settings, options, logging, information, and varying breathing patterns if you want to get complicated.
